‘In the midst of winter, I found within me, an invincible summer.’ Albert Camus

First — I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well and at peace in these challenging times.

Second — apologies for the delay in sending you this blog. I couldn’t quite get a clear handle on this unprecedented situation initially — I usually feel and intuit my writing — however I do believe……

You are here on this Earth in this powerful time for a reason — to assist with the transition into a higher consciousness……..

This is a time for self reflection and ponder about how you want to live your life.

‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’ — Abraham Lincoln

We can sometimes allow negative energy into our lives without realising this due to it’s daily pervading presence at the moment.

However, no matter what you are experiencing in life right now, trust all is unfolding in your best interests — a good affirmation to use at present.

In fact I believe this is a watershed moment in history whereby the terrifying magnitude of abuse of power that has been going on behind closed doors for decades in global corporations and governments could finally shock the collective consciousness to say enough is enough.

The current culture of banks is morally bankrupt and they must be urgently prevented from ruining lives and business quite unnecessarily.

There is no going back from this.

The death of the old and birth of the new has begun.

This is the time to speak your truth.

We cannot fix what we don’t acknowledge.

The enemy has also shown who they are and the door has shut behind them.

We can see, hear and feel the damage that has been inflicted on our world.

I cannot quite join the dots up yet but I do believe we’ve been due for a major correction in the way we live our lives for a long while.

However, remember the universe always has our back.

I believe this is a perfect time for the world to truly transform and metamorph into a world built for the people of the 21st century.

I hope and pray the people will demand it.

From a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly.

‘We will not go back to normal. Normal never was. Our pre-corona existence was not normal other than we normalised greed, inequality, exhaustion, depletion, extraction, disconnection, confusion, rage, hoarding, hate and lack. We should not long to return, my friends. We are being given the opportunity to stitch a new garment. One that fits all of humanity and nature.’ — Sonya Renee Taylor

In these challenging times — take time to re-focus your energy — we’re all a little fragile at the moment…….so look after yourself and your loved ones……love is not fragile.

‘The moment you wake up, right away, you can smile. That’s a smile of enlightenment. You are aware that a new day is beginning, that life is offering you twenty-four brand-new hours to live and that’s the most precious of gifts.’― Thích Nhat Hạnh

Remember fear does not stop death. It stops life. And worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.

If we have too many worries, fears, and doubts, we have no room for living and loving. We need to practice letting go.

Part of your journey into light is to be able to create inside of yourself that sense of safety, that assurance that the world is friendly and that you are loved and protected by a caring and generous universe.

‘The wisdom and intelligence of the universe is mine to use. I trust in Life to support me.’ — Louise L Hay

Remember there is far more good in this world than bad.

So ask your soul to assist you.

Calm your breathing and go inward until you find that place of trust and ask the child you once were and the elder you are becoming to guide you.

‘Buddhism teaches that joy and happiness arise from letting go. Please sit down and take an inventory of your life. There are things you’ve been hanging on to that really are not useful and deprive you of your freedom. Find the courage to let them go.’ ― Thích Nhat Hạnh

Think of all the positive things that have appeared unexpectedly to help soothe us through these turbulent times.

The silence is beautiful; our atmosphere is cleaner; the dawn chorus is magnificent; dolphins are swimming up the Venetian canals; people are connecting with compassion to the elderly and are being nicer to each other; neighbours are becoming friends; people care about their fellow citizens; the end is in sight……..the world is coming together whilst the people are apart.

This is a great time to focus on your health and strengthening the foundation of your immune system with good nutrition………you can heal yourself with the right food, moderate exercise…so invest in your wellbeing.

And take time to question what works in your life and what doesn’t……time to simplify your life maybe and stop those limiting beliefs…….

‘The power to move the world is in your subconscious mind.’ — William James

Create a mindset for success by not defining yourself with any outside forces.

Mentally release any fears and negative thoughts with a deep breath release and get a sense of freedom from not having to strive for validation and approval.

Relax the mind, body and soul from an attitude of striving.

Remember your thinking creates your life — use affirmations and visualisations — comfort your inner child and find extraordinary peace……..

Meditation will spiritually help you to find forgiveness of the situation

Take a walk in nature and appreciate the beauty as Spring fully awakens with buds on the trees; the birds singing and hearing water bubbling along a stream or river is very soothing for us — mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. This really does have a calming effect on your heart………we are part of nature.

In our dreams we can do anything — believe in the energy of your thoughts and dreams…….

If we listen to our inner guidance we can create what we believe in our thoughts and imagination.

How we perceive something is how it shows up for us.

We are always creating our own reality — whether conscious or not — however your life is reflected back to you by your thinking — so expect the best.

We live in a universe where science and spirituality are one and the same — Quantum Physics shows us our thoughts create our world.

‘Live life as though everything were rigged in your favour.’Rumi

Superficiality of the current modern era denies us access to the power and wisdom in silence — that’s where meditation can come into help our thinking.

If we can get very clear, laser like, in what we want — believe it — then let it go and allow the universe to make it come together — we can create a wonderful life for ourselves.

Our minds are so powerful but we’re not taught how to think — learn to think and harness the powers of your subconscious.

These are such beneficial principles to live your life by — but we are not taught this in our current education system. We create our own reality by the thoughts we think and the words we speak.

We are creators and we can empower ourselves by being conscious of our thoughts — thoughts matter and they become matter — so we can consciously create the life we want. This stuff works — why aren’t we taught to use these powers!? Instead the modern culture is to teach that life is difficult and stressful, but the ultimate demonstration of quantum law is that we can create a positive future that we have lived in our mind.

It really is very simple — try it — keeping focused about what you want and where you’re going. Every day should feel good. If it doesn’t, make it so. If you feel good you will attract the good to your life anyway. That’s why staying in shape and keeping fit make you feel good so you attract more of that feeling into your life! As author Augusten Burroughs says, ‘You manufacture beauty with your mind’.

‘I admit that thoughts influence the body.’Albert Einstein

Fear is circulating our planet at the moment affecting many actions and decisions.

Mental health has become an even bigger issue in these difficult times…..how you feel depends on your own mental attitude.

So create a mindset that is supportive for you — as Shakespeare said ‘Nothing is ever good or bad but thinking makes it so.’

Remember nature and our planet are enjoying this enforced rest — including me and many of my family and friends.

Space and time are priceless and we’re getting an abundance of it now.

So be in now — this very moment where peace is abundant……

‘Be happy for no reason, like a child, if you are happy for a reason, you’re in trouble, because that reason can be taken from you.’ — Deepak Chopra

Nature doesn’t need us but we need it……….nature is now naturally healing itself……the universe really is looking after us…….people are questioning their lives……..wanting to be more self sufficient and living nearer to nature……..this makes us psychologically happier, calmer and more at peace in our world.

‘Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease……..with carefreeness, harmony and love. And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.’ — Deepak Chopra

As a child I grew up in the countryside and we loved as a family that proximity to nature……understanding that nature is a great healer……..

All that exaggerated consumerism — buying stuff that we didn’t need — which we are now clearing out of our houses because we have the time — to allow new fresh energy into our lives which is more supportive of the times we live in now. Hurrah!

We all want and need love, kindness, purpose, family and friends…….and to find fulfilment…..

When you change your thoughts you change your feelings……

Remember — the subconscious mind believes whatever it’s told — so be kind to yourself and nurture your inner child.

Be someone who makes you happy. Get out of your own way…….switch off the relentless negative news and go for a fabulous walk in nature…….

Touch/hug a tree or/and walk barefoot on the grass — it will plug you back into nature and the universe where you can get a deeper connection and peace of mind.

Visualise what you would like to create in your life and affirm this creation with positive affirmations.

Be in nature to stay present and attuned to what nature is up to.

I believe it is showing us the way forward……..

The eight best doctors are, the sun; fresh air; physical exercise; plenty of hydrating water; love; recreation; laughter and a positive attitude.

The power of the positive story you tell yourself can be life transforming.

We are giving birth to the empowered self, the authentic self and maybe a new way of living and working.

Remember we are all in this together and we are far more powerful than we are educated to believe.

We are reconnecting with one another on a human compassionate level despite the social distancing.

‘Success is about leaving a legacy of generosity and kindness rather than a trail of destruction.’ — Jacinda Ardern

Kindness has a ripple effect in the universe…..

So stay positive and calm.

Never stop believing.

Never give up.

The way of peace is the way of love.

Love is the greatest power on earth.

It conquers all things.

Be grateful for now today.

Be in the now.

Keep safe, calm and at peace.

Good times will return — but out of choice they may be a little different.

Much love to you and your family

Namaste.

‘Humanity is now faced with a stark choice. Evolve or die……if the structures of the human mind remain unchanged, we will always end up re-creating the same world, the same evils, the same dysfunction.’ — Eckhart Tolle
